It is those people who can make a bad situation an good situation who gets the promotions and the extra pays. You will also want to learn how you can be a better person at work. You will need to get to know some of your co-workers better and be ready to lend a hand at any time.

Secondly, following the fact that you need to learn how to extend your hand to others in your department you will need to learn how to form a social relationship with your co-workers. To get respect you need to give it. You will need to keep this in mind when it comes to getting to know your co-workers, because you will need to try to give the boss the perception that you are a caring person and that you are able to spare a few minutes here and there to help discuss an issue that a fellow co-worker is dealing with and that you can be trusted and seen as a reliable person by others.

Finally, you are going to have to show your devoting to the job by trying to put the time in. this means that you will need to work hard while at the job during normal business hours, but you may need to bring some work home with you to get yourself ready and prepared for the next morning's meeting. You will also need to consider that there are going to be times where they will need someone to come in early or stay late and you need to make sure that your hand is the first one in the air when it comes to this type of offer. Those who work hard and show off their communication and interpersonal skills get the promotion.
